Tal como recordarán los miles de fieles lectores que siguen esta páginas, hace unas semanas falleció el egregio poeta y trovador oriental Elber Gazzinari.
Su deceso se produjo en una unidad de transporte colectivo de UCOT.
Nuestra admiración por su obra, y por sobre todo por su persona, hizo que nos prometiéramos a nosotros mismos indagar algo más acerca de sus últimos momentos.

Sabíamos que Elber Gazzinari no iba a abandonar este mundo sin dejar una señal. Algo. Eso es lo que buscamos.
Y decidimos comenzar por la propia empresa.

Al llegar nos atendió una recepcionista muy amable que no pareció entender nada de lo que le decíamos. Nos mandó a la oficina de ojebtos (sic) perdidos.
Allí al fondo de un corredor oscuro, había un mostrador, y atrás una estantería llena de cosas. Nadie que atendiera.
Al rato apareció un gordo desaliñado rengueando lentamente.
